Rory + Abby
Rory + Abby, where do I start with these guys? i’ll tell you where, COVID…
I know, i know, at this point it’s almost a swear word, but Rory + Abby were one of the thousands of couples across the country who had to rearrange their initial day because of COVID. Thats it, thats all i’m going to talk about on that side of things, now we move on to the good stuff.
Leamington Spa played host to their big day, and while this is pretty close to home for us, we were lucky enough to shoot in two locations we’ve never been to before! St Mary’s Church in Cubbington was absolutely stunning. Think of a small and quaint village Church, and St Mary’s is what you’d come up with.
I remember speaking with Rory in the build up to the Wedding and chatting about their afternoon reception at Wethele Manor i did the usual Wedding Supplier thing of taking a look online at the venue, and from that moment on, i was hooked, and boy oh boy did that place hit the spot! Everything about it is absolutely incredible. The Staff, The Grounds, The Food and right down to the beautiful little pondside Huts for Bridal Prep too! Fingers crossed we are lucky enough to pay a trip back there at some point in the future!
Morning Prep is one of my favourite parts of the day for heaps of reasons, but mainly because it’s a total guessing game as to what kind of environment you’re walking in to. Absolute carnage with everybody running around at the speed of light, or on the other end of the spectrum, you’ve got complete and total relaxation. You do get some Groom + Bridal Preps that fall somewhere in the middle, but for the most part, its one end or the other.
Both Rory + Abby’s Prep were on the chilled and more relaxed side of things, with Mode Bridal Hair And Makeup slotting in perfectly keeping that chilled vibe going. Regency Flowers provided the days florals, helping tie the look of everything together absolutely beautifully. Lighter Pastel notes throughout the colour scheme matched the feel and air of the day to a tee.
Working alongside the brilliant Katie Mccullough Photography was a complete breeze. There's nothing better than all suppliers coming together and leaning into the 'one team, one dream' mindset! The vibe of the day was absolutely perfect, with everyone just coming together to have the time of their lives and celebrate a an incredible couple who are clearly head over heels in love!
We were given the heads up that there was some Irish blood running through the Wedding Party, and boy oh boy did it show come Dance floor time. We shot and literally danced the night away and believe us when we saying packing your gear down at 1am, whilst still wanting to tear up the dance-floor was a different kind of challenge for us! That's probably the perfect way to sum this Wedding up. Being made to feel like part of the family is one of the beautiful parts of this job, and something i'll never take for granted, and thats exactly what this Wedding encapsulated, that feeling of 'Family'.
Rory + Abby, this is one that we're absolutely not going to forget in a hurry. Thanks for being just perfect from the get go, and right through till the very end too...
Willam + Ella - Amalfi Coast, Italy
William + Ella tied the knot in one of the most stunning locations imaginable. No, literally, when you think of dream Wedding locations, this has to be right up there. The absolutely stunning Hotel Caruso in Ravello played host to William + Ella’s day. We were invited along to film the day, with the UNREAL Chelsea White
Waking up to 30 Degree Sunshine was a welcome change for us, although i’ve never known fear quite like our journey to William + Ella’s venue. Squeezing my 6”1 frame into one of Europes smallest Cars, whilst driving on the right hand side through the narrow streets of Amalfi with the locals being less than thrilled that you’re barely reaching 15mph is an experience i’ll never be able to forget. I cant apologise to Tom + Adam enough for making them endure that journey with me.
Ella started the day with hair and make up from Make Up By Sheila with a super relaxed vibe from the off. Sheila was an absolute joy to work with, and i’m only hoping our paths will cross again down the road at some point! I can’t begin to tell you how important it is for your Hair + Makeup Team to be able to set a chilled and relaxed atmosphere to begin your day!
Ella’s Incredible dress was from the team at J&J Designs Bridal with shoes from the always stunning Jimmy Choo. Her bridesmaids, who, i’d like to go on record by saying were one of the nicest groups of people we’ve ever worked with, were wearing dresses from Melle Cloche. This Wedding was a coming together of some of the nicest people you could hope to meet, and it was a constant reminder that we have one of the best jobs in the world!
The Hotel Caruso’s decor absolutely serenades you with it’s style and class, it almost feels like you don’t need to add anything to this place at all. That being said, the The Bridal Paperie supplied all the details and stationary, with Amalfi Coast Florist supplying some of the most unreal florals we’ve ever been able to shoot, and this helped to round off the look perfectly.
Our good friends in Apollo Soul helped to not only bring beautiful live strings to the Ceremony, but also live Vocals and Keys to the afternoon drinks reception, with the full band bringing the energy and party to round off an unforgettable day. Having live music at a Wedding Day is one of our favourite things to capture, and Apollo Soul never dissapoint!
When Ella sent that first email across to me, it may have been one of the fastest replies i’ve given. We’ll never be able to truly explain how grateful we are to be asked to play a small role in our couples day, and this Wedding was absolutely no different.
We shot a Full Feature Film for William + Ella on the day, and grabbed a couple of stills while we were there too, Chelsea was the full Photographer and we couldn't recommend her work enough!

Shaun + Tash - Cherry Barn
Shaun + Tash - Cherry Barn
Shaun + Tash tied the knot down on the South Coast at Cherry Barn, based on Clayton Farm in Rye, nestled neatly in-between the neighbouring towns of Peasmarsh + Playden. We were lucky enough to be asked along to film the occasion. It’s not very often I need reminding that I have the best job in the world, but when i do, this Wedding reminds within a heartbeat.
After a shaky start, and when I say shaky, I mean a Whopping Thunderstorm waking us up at 5am, the weather decided it wanted to be friends and flipped everything on it’s head, not only giving us incredible blue skies all day, but gifting us an absolutely banging sunset to finish on too…
We were lucky enough to be working alongside the incredible Rosie May Kelly on Photo Duties, Rosie is an incredible Photographer and we couldn't recommend a nicer supplier if we tried! Tash was wearing an incredible Suzanne Neville dress from Miss Bush Bridal Boutique, with her shoes from Gucci too. As Wedding shoes go, these were something else! Shaun was wearing a Navy custom suit from The Drop, with the lighter toned waistcoat complimenting the fit perfectly.
Shaun + Tash absolutely nailed the format of their day, with it never feeling like there was any kind of lull in the mood or atmosphere. Gospel Touch set the Vibe for the afternoon playing some infectious RnB Classics. Seriously, the temptation to drop the camera and just let loose with the rest of the guests was STRONG.
Table details and seating plan from Bee Davies Illustration told the story of Shaun + Tash’s journey to some of the worlds coolest locations perfectly, and fit the overall aesthetic of the day perfectly!
The evening kept that same tempo and energy as the afternoon, with The Kingdom playing the newlyweds and their guests into the early hours, only to be stopped by the absolutely stunning Fireworks display from Fireworks Crazy. As ALWAYS, it's impossible for the rest of the team and myself to ever take this job for granted, and Shaun + Tash's day was that classic reminder that this really is the best job in the world.
We shot a Full Feature Film for Shaun + Tash on the day, and grabbed a couple of stills while we were there too, Rosie was the full Photographer and we couldn't recommend her work enough!
Beautiful Location. Beautiful People. Beautiful Day.
